According to a Facebook post, the new Gregorys in Melville officially opened on April 26, 2021. Since then, it has generated local buzz for its storefront and quality coffee.

The Melville location found its home at 847 Walt Whitman Road, in a fairly new business strip near the Melville Mall. In their announcement post, Gregorys said they “Pulled out all the stops” when it came to the design of the cafe. It seems to have been a rewarded effort with plenty of favorable reviews discussing the modern decor and seating.

The chain’s popularity has grown as it expanded into markets outside of the New York City area. With a brewing location in Long Island City that roasts their beans four days a week, the brand’s coffee is handpicked and heavily vetted before reaching their menus.

Asides from plentiful unique coffee offerings, Gregorys offers baked goods, smoothies, and a multitude of other drinks. It is their coffee and espressos, however, that truly shine on their formidable menu. Some of their most popular items are also their most creative, like their “Flower Power” cold brew, infused with lavender and the honey-sweetened “Honey Badger.”

Gregorys is open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., seven days a week. To find more on their menu as well as locations, visit their website.
