1. Duck Donuts: Though Duck Donuts has dozens of locations across the country, you can visit it right here on Long Island at 49 College Plaza in Selden and 586 Veterans Memorial Highway Unit 1B in Hauppauge.

The donut shop boasts an impressive menu of and specialty donuts for you to enjoy, with flavors ranging from Bacon in the Sun, to Pina Colada, to Peanut Butter & Jelly and everything in between. You can choose to pick up a single donut, get a pre-chosen assortment, build your own half-dozen assortment, or pick up a donut decorating kit to make your own. 

If you’re looking for something to pair with your donuts, Duck Donuts has a variety of coffee drinks to choose from ranging from lattes to cold brew. If you’re looking for something more, check out their breakfast sandwich menu, all of which can be served on an english menu or donut.

2. Once Bitten: Located at 1000 Park Blvd. in Massapequa Park, Once Bitten Donuts has just what you need to satisfy your donut craving. 

Once Bitten provides a plethora of unique specialty donuts. You can choose to get a cake or yeast donut depending on your preference and the menu you choose from, with an eclectic mix of options on each. Some options include flavors like C is for Cookies and Cream, Glazed & Confused, You’re Bacon Me Crazy for Maple, and Don’t Be Jelly, among many other creatively named donuts. 

On the Limited Time Specials portion of the menu, you’ll find just that. Options vary between cake and yeast donuts, so no matter what you prefer, there is an option for you. For those looking to stay plant-based, this limited menu sports a Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go vegan donut.

You can wash down your donuts with a coffee or tea from their menu, and call in if you wish to order a party-sized portion of custom donuts for any occasion.

3. Sundae Donuts: Sundae Donuts is taking Long Island by storm, with three current locations in Syosset, Hampton Bays and Massapequa, and two more coming soon in Huntington and Oyster Bay. The 917 N. Broadway Massapequa location opened last month.

Sundae Donuts takes donuts to another level with their options to turn your donut into customizable ice cream sandwiches, donut-infused ice creams, or donut sundaes. You can choose to keep it simple and choose from their donut menu, and add on a coffee to pair it with.

4. Doughology: Doughology has more than enough donut options to satisfy your sweet tooth. You can visit them at their locations in Lynbrook and Babylon to get your fix.

Doughology has an extensive menu of donuts for every taste, whether you choose something from their Simple Donuts menu, Signature Donuts menu, Specialty Donuts menu, or create your own through their Donut Bar. 

The Simple Donuts menu hosts their Cinnamon Sugar, Glazed, and Powdered donuts with the option to add one dip. On the Signature Donuts menu you’ll find options like Caramel Apple Crumbcake, Churro, Devil Dog, and Fruity Pebbles among others. Limited edition items like the Rainbow Cookie Donut, Cannoli Donut, Black and White Donut and St. Joseph’s Donut can be found on the Specialty menu. 

At the Donut Bar, you have the option to build your own donut by picking the type of donut you want, your choice of frosting, and three toppings. There is also a Vegan Donut menu to choose from if you prefer a plant-based option, including flavors like Oreo, Cinnamon Sugar, Chocolate Peanut Butter, and many more.

5. North Fork Donut Company: You can find North Fork Donut Company at their storefront in Mattituck, or their brand new location in the heart of Bay Shore. 

Donuts are made from scratch daily at each of their locations and served fresh. On their daily menu are a variety of flavors such as Glazed, Cinnamon Sugar, Caramel Coffee Cake, Churro, and more. Each location has its own menu that varies weekly, and you can find this month’s lineup of flavors here. Except to see flavors like Strawberry Cheesecake, Porky Pig, Berry Lemonade, Matcha Cheesecake, Java Chip, Root Beer Float, and many more pop up, and check their website to see which location you can find your favorites at. 

If you’re heading to the Fire Island ferry terminal in Bay Shore, you can pick up a care package from the Bay Shore location specially designed for your trip to the beach with North Fork Donut Company’s Ferry Pack Preorder. The package includes a six pack of assorted donuts, either two cans of Sail Away cold brew or two bottles of Montauk lemonade, one liter water bottle, and one pair of North Fork Donut Company sunglasses.
